If you haven’t been to one of my shows, this is your chance.

If you have, you know what to expect.

I’m a conceptual artist who likes to play where I’m not supposed to.

I work with all five senses. With expert craftsmen. With subversion.

This time, it’s the Chelsea Flower Show.

The florist flew in from Houston.

The flower supplier took his largest order to date.

The venue? A luxury green grocer.

The theme? Madame de Pompadour—18th-century muse, mistress, power player.

Expect the team to dress accordingly.

Expect Pompadour-themed drinks and food.

Expect the flowers to outshine Tiffany’s £100k install.

Expect to see what modern conceptual art looks like.

Expect to remember it.

In the art world, asking people to show up is considered uncool.

But you should.

Because this isn’t about flowers or how pretty something can look.

It’s about how a commoner became queen of the court.

How a group of independent creators teamed up, waiving fees, sharing resources, so an independent small organic fruit and veg shop could win.

Andreas of Chelsea, Kale Street, Ace in Bloom and Russ Jones present Pompadour A celebration of the original fashionista: Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson, Marquise de Pompadour. Madame de Pompadour was a visionary. A trailblazing style icon, an exceptional gardener whose floral designs captivated the royal court, and a celebrated chef whose creations became legends of the French kitchen. Pompadour will be an immersive installation by Ace Berry of Houston, Texas and conceptual artist Russ Jones of London, UK. Together, they explore the intensity and transformation possible when fashion and flowers collide - how external beauty can reshape our internal world. This is a celebration of rudality, feeling, and peak experience - changing how we see, feel, and exist through the power of art. As a tribute to her culinary passions, the experience will be multi-sensory. Guests will be served dishes of Pompadour Violette- asparagus and Pompadour potatoes- accompanied by Cocktail de Pompadour, a blend of champagne, cognac, orange blossom, and lemon.
